Summer still leaves its last traces when autumn makes its reappearance in the Netherlands. That means, among other things, that the clocks go back one hour and the days are wrapped in a dark cloak earlier. A little light here and there is therefore desirable! Both inside and outside the house. In this article we give you options to provide your garden (house) with outdoor lighting; of course in style.

Outdoor lighting

When it comes to outdoor lighting, there is a wide choice that translates into all kinds and sizes of lamps. In general, wall lanterns, pedestal lanterns, lamp posts and ceiling lanterns are the most common to install in a garden. It depends on the space and the desired way of lighting, which lanterns best match your garden.

Wall lanterns

Do you have a narrow, dark alley next to your house that leads to your backyard? Or do you want the outside of your (garden) house to be more visible? Then it is nice to be able to illuminate it with a few wall lanterns. We have an assortment of a total of 18 lanterns that belong to this category. Within this category we have some lanterns that lean more towards a classic design, while others tend towards something more modern. Something for everyone!

Pedestal lanterns

Pedestal lanterns; you may not have seen them often enough to bring up these lights when you think of outdoor lighting. Pedestal lanterns have something stylish, chic, but also something modern. A pedestal lantern looks best on a low wall, a staircase by the front door or a large stone. In addition, such lighting is also a nice addition to the fencing around, in front of or next to your house. For example, consider a fence consisting of stone pillars and a metal fence in between. The pedestal lanterns can be mounted on top of a pillar, so that the house, the garden and the entrance to the house/garden are also visible.

Street lights

Lampposts look particularly good in a somewhat larger garden. Because of the height, lampposts can shine their light over a larger plot than lower lamps. Of course, this does not exclude the possibility that such lighting can also be installed in a somewhat smaller garden. For example, we recommend that you place the lamppost in the planter in your backyard or just in your front garden.

Ceiling lanterns

We have now mainly talked about lighting outside the house. Due to their limited placement options, ceiling lanterns can only be mounted inside a ceiling. But you can also bring ‘inside’ to ‘outside’ through a garden shed. You can also store such lighting under your carport and other roofs.

Modern outdoor lanterns

Do you really want a completely modern look in terms of lamp and design? Recently, we have entered into a new collaboration with Holy Steel Design. More streamlined, more geometric, all of the same material – steel! – and with its own original twist. The collection consists of both modern wall and pedestal lanterns.
